Overview
If your
looking for a little more adventure. This
two hour City Pilot Cruise pilot adventure includes everything the Pilot
Adventure has, a touch and go landing at another airport, but also
includes flying up the Lake Michigan Shore to downtown Chicago. You will
hear actual air traffic alerts from Midway approach control and watch for
traffic. You receive: a “Pilot Adventure Flight Certificate”
Description
The pilot adventure commences with ground
training including a walk through an aircraft hanger, learning about:
airplane maintenance chart reading, and airplane control. This briefing
will include all you need to know to enable you to control the aircraft on
your first lesson. After the briefing the instructor will take you through
the pre-flight inspection of the Cessna 172 training aircraft prior to
you sitting in the pilot seat to get ready for your flight. Your flight
instructor will help you through the start-up, taxiing, tower clearance
and take-off before you take to the skies. During the 60 minute flight you
will be able to have hands on experience in flying the airplane.
