Overview
Want to see and feel what it is like to fly? This 60 minute Pilot Adventure will give you the opportunity to sit in the pilot seat and actually fly a Cessna 172 under the guidance of an FAA Certified Flight Instructor. This one-on-one flight is a mini lesson and incredible first flight training experience. The flight includes a touch and go landing at another airport, talking to the tower and a return flight and landing. You receive: a “Pilot Adventure Flight Certificate” suitable for framing, a Polaroid of you and the plane, question and answer time, a copy of and a 3 month subscription to Flight Training magazine, and a log book so your flight time will count towards any future pilot licensing. The pilot adventure commences with ground training including a walk through an aircraft hanger, learning about air-plane maintenance and airplane control. This briefing will include all you need to know to enable you to control the aircraft on your first flight. Then the instructor will take you through the pre-flight inspection of the Cessna 172 training aircraft prior to you sitting in the pilot seat to get ready for your flight. Your instructor will help you through the start-up, taxi, tower clearance and take-off before you take to the skies. During the 30 minute flight you will be able to have hands on experience in flying the airplane.
